Oleksandr Yukhymovych is a multi-talented musician starting to make waves in the classical music world. Born and raised in Kyiv, Oleksandr Yukhymovych began playing the violin and piano at a young age and quickly developed a passion for both composing and conducting.

Oleksandr Yukhymovych studied music at Chamberzhi Kyiv Children Academy of Arts (2018), where he learned his skills in both disciplines and developed a unique style that seamlessly blends traditional classical elements with modern techniques and influences. After graduation, he studied viola at Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music (2022, cum laude) and with professor Michael Kugel at Conservatorium Maastricht (2023, cum laude). At the moment Oleksandr Yukhymovych doing his master's in composition with professor Evgen Stankovych at the Ukraine National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music and at the same time his second master's degree in viola with Julia Dinerstein at Conservatorium Maastricht.

Oleksandr Yukhymovych has received numerous awards and accolades for his work, including the Grand Prix award at the VII O. Spendiarov International Competition (Yalta, Ukraine, 2017)  and the first degree award at the International Youth Music Competition (Atlanta, USA, 2022).

Oleksandr Yukhymovych has a particular talent for creating contemporary classical music that is both accessible and innovative. His compositions often blend traditional classical elements with modern techniques and influences, creating a sound that is both familiar and fresh.

With a passion for pushing the boundaries of classical music, Oleksandr Yukhymovych is a force to be recognized, both as a composer and conductor. And is definitely a name to watch out for in the nearby future.
