Francesco Bekkema is a Dutch-based director who specializes in theatre productions. With over 10 years of experience in the opera industry, he has worked on a variety of productions in Europe, including "The Magic Flute", "Ariadne auf Naxos", and Don "Giovanni", among others.

In addition to his work as a director, Bekkema is also experienced in producing and managing opera productions. He has a thorough understanding of the logistics involved in putting on an opera, from casting and rehearsals to stage design and technical requirements.

Beyond his work in opera, Bekkema is passionate about making the art form more accessible to wider audiences. He has been involved in outreach programs aimed at introducing opera to young people and communities who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience it.
